Our philosophy
At JLB Precision Engineering, we understand that a classic vehicle is not simply a machine. It is an artefact, part of a lineage that cannot be replicated, only preserved. The vehicles we serve are among the rarest on the road. Some exist in single figures worldwide. That scarcity demands a level of care and precision that ordinary parts supply cannot provide.
Every component we produce begins with the original. We study it, measure it, and understand why it was made the way it was, before redesigning it using modern engineering principles. The result fits correctly, performs perfectly, and outlasts the part it replaces. We do not reproduce originals. We improve upon them.
Our founder is a trained aerospace engineer with a background spanning supercar-level manufacturing and high-end classic vehicle restoration. The same standard of precision applied in those environments is brought to every component that leaves our facility, however small, however rare the vehicle it belongs to.
Our approach
Every component begins where the original ended. We study the part, understand its purpose, and redesign it from first principles, preserving everything that made it right, and correcting everything that made it fail.
The environment inside a classic vehicle is demanding. Heat, cold, vibration, time. We select materials not for their cost but for their suitability, chosen to endure the conditions the original could not, and the decades still to come.
